Sweet Obsession: Barnana

I happened upon Barnana snacks at Whole Foods and I am now totally obsessed. They are little bits of banana covered in peanut butter ... AND they're non-GMO, organic, gluten free, kosher and vegetarian. I'm not totally sure why they aren't vegan (I can't see any animal products on the ingredient list), but aside from that, they are pretty much the perfect sweet indulgence.

Barnana also makes these snacks in other flavors: Organic Original Chewy Banana Bites, Organic Chocolate and Organic Coconut. I highly recommend them, even though they are on the pricy side (around $4 for a small bag).

It would be awesome to figure out how to make a version of these. If any of you savvy cooks out there come up with anything, please let me know!

About a year ago I discovered Cocomels by JJ's Sweets in Whole Foods, and I have been obsessed ever since. Organic, dairy free, vegan, kosher, gluten free and NON GMO, these little coconut milk caramels do not disappoint. Artisan-made in copper kettles using simple ingredients, Cocomels come in a variety of flavors (my favorite is Sea Salt). I especially love giving these as part of a gift, or bringing them to a party, because odds are everyone will be able to enjoy them!

Miss Meringue Classique LOW FAT Meringue Cookies Belgian Chocolate Chip Petites 4.0 oz. (Pack of 3)
If you are seeking a delicious, low calorie sweet indulgence, then look no further than the Miss Meringue Petite cookies. These amazing little bite sized meringue cookies come in a variety of flavors (the Belgian Chocolate Chip are my favorite) and are only ten calories a piece! They are also made with all natural ingredients and are low in fat. You also get quite a few cookies in each container, making the price tag worth it. The Miss Meringue website isn't the most user/shopper friendly however, so I suggest ordering off Amazon.
