I love going to MLB games ... There is something so fun about being in the stadium, watching the game in the sunshine and eating a hot dog. Until relatively recently, my baseball game experiences had been fun, but not perfect. I usually can't eat much of anything — no hot dogs, no beer, no nothing. But in recent years, stadiums and ball parks across America have been serving up some gluten free food options. In fact, there are a large number of stadiums and ball parks that now offer gluten free food. You can check out this list here.
I was at Dodger Stadium a few weeks ago, and I was really surprised at how good the gluten free food offerings were. Considering I had zero expectations for a gluten free experience, there was quite a bit to choose from. For starters, they have the classic Dodger Dogs on gluten free buns at all the Kaiser Permanente Healthy Plate Carts. In section 155 you can also find veggies dogs offered on gluten free buns.
The Kaiser Permanente Healthy Plate Carts also sell gluten free beer, and other gluten free snacks such as chips. Think Blue BBQ on the Pavilion Level offers stocks of corn fully loaded with cheese, chili mayo, cilantro, etc. LA Taqueria is located on the Reserve level, and they offer a selection of tacos that are gluten free. Finally, ALL of the nachos sold at Dodger Stadium are gluten free!
There are tons of great options for those with celiac disease at Dodger Stadium (and at ballparks across America), so I highly suggest going out the ballgame!
